Sean O’Conner is the Senior Pastor of Vine Prairie Baptist Church. He is a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant with 22 years of service, where he served in leadership and training roles, helping develop and mentor soldiers across multiple levels.

After his military career, God led Sean into full-time ministry. He previously served at the Navajo Brethren in Christ Mission, where he worked closely with the Navajo community through church ministry, youth outreach, and Christian education. His passion for ministry is rooted in building relationships, sharing the Gospel clearly, and helping people grow in their identity in Christ.

Sean holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in American History, and he has also taught as an adjunct professor. He is currently completing his Doctor of Ministry with a focus on relational and contextual discipleship.

He is married to his wife, Amber, and together they have four children. Sean’s heart is to see people come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live it out in everyday life.
